It Is Coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

December twenty first is for more than being jolly,
It's that time of year we bundle up and run the Taylor folly.

Find your headlamp, get your gear,
It is a coming, drawing near.

Several miles in the park,
Several miles in the dark.

Do not fret about the weather, that's too far to know,
Could be rain or wind or clear or frost or fog or snow.

Charge that headlamp, check the strap,
Bring a friend, forget the map.

Several miles in the night,
Several miles with just your light.

We'll all go out and trust and hope, just following our dot,
That the course is marked and clear and comes back to the parking lot.

Oh, bring some money, Dean'll ask ya
To help his niece up in Alaska.
He somehow thinks that we should care
What those folks want to do up there.

Yes folks, the 2nd annual Northern State Winter Solstice Dec. 21, 2007 7:00PM Headlamp (or flashlight) Run with a full moon too, if it is clear.  Start planning.
